FIREARMS SAFETY BASICS (VA) & STOP THE BLEED
Trainings are conducted at a public library or meeting space.

10:30am to 12:00pm — Stop the Bleed (StB)
The Stop the Bleed portion is approximately 1.5 hours with lecture and hands-on skills for stopping life-threatening bleeding.
Participants will be able to practice direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application. You will earn a Stop the Bleed certificate.
12:00pm to 12:30pm — Lunch Break
Lunch is 30 minutes, so please check the training location as well as the surrounding areas for planning purposes.
Depending on the location, there may not be enough time to go out or order so bringing a lunch might be best.

12:30pm to 4:30pm — Firearm Safety (Virginia)
The Handgun Safety portion is approximately 4 hours with lecture and discussions on the basics of firearms ownership, handgun safety and nomenclature, and handgun fundamentals and operation.
NO WEAPONS OR AMMUNITION ARE ALLOWED.
The Handgun Safety Class by itself is educational only. You will not earn a certificate from this class.

- STOP THE BLEED® Program from the American College of Surgeons (ACS)
- STOP THE BLEED® Project by the Stop the Bleed Coalition in Partnership with the DoD
- First Aid for Severe Trauma™ (FAST™) from the Red Cross
- Emergency First Aid Fundamentals (EFAF) by the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA)
- Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals (CCHDF) by USCCA
- We do not offer any NRA courses
