& STOP THE BLEED (Basic)
This course is 16 hours of classroom time, split over two days, plus an additional range trip with qualification course (2 hours at the range).
The class is being held in a semi-private location with restricted access.
NO FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION ARE ALLOWED AT CLASS.
The classroom is located inside a local business and for the privacy and security of all involved, the exact address will be sent out 2 days beforehand.
Classroom - 9am to 6pm - Both Days
This multi-jurisdictional class will cover the requirements for the MD Wear & Carry (W&C) and the VA Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP).*
Range: Scheduled as a follow-on & separate 1:1 range live-fire exercise & qualification. There are 2 hours of range time to meet DC requirements.*
There is an additional range fee for the live-fire portion of $20-$30, plus the cost of renting a firearm and/or purchasing ammunition if you do not have your own. Please reach out if the range fees are a barrier and we can make arrangements.
Lunch Break - 1:00pm to 2:00pm - Both Days
Lunch is 60 minutes, please check the area surrounding the training location for planning purposes if you plan on ordering/going out for lunch.
Feel free to bring a lunch as there is a fridge & microwave on site as well as water and coffee machines.

**You will not earn a Firearms Safety Certificate until after you schedule and successfully complete a follow-on range live-fire exercise & qualification. The firing range portion is conducted in a separate 1:1 session and requires 2 hours of range time (as per DC code).
***You will earn a Stop the Bleed Training Certificate.
